Nase: Duftend wie indische Gewürze mit Zitrusfrüchten, Toastbrot, floral und etwas Schokolade.

Palate: Frische Zitrusfrüchten werden von Schokolade, Toffee und Vanille umgeben.

Finish: Ein langes Finish mit leichter Rauchnote.

Der anCnoc 2000 ist eine limitierte Vintage-Edition, destilliert im Jahr 2000, der Knockdhu-Destillerie.
Maturiert wurde der Whisky in spanischen ex-Sherry- sowie in amerikanischen ex-Bourboneichenfässern.

anCnoc ist schottisch-gälisch für 'der Hügel' und ist der Übername der Abfüllungen der Knockdhu-Destillerie, welche am Rand der Speyside-Region liegt. Um eine Verwirrung mit der Knockandhu-Destillerie zu vermeiden, hat Knockdhu ihre Abfüllungen zu 'anCnoc' umbenannt.
Das Wasser bezieht Knockdhu von der Quelle, welche vom namensgebenden Hügel hinter der Destillerie entspringt.
Noch immer operiert Knockdhu mit zwei Potstills, welche die exakte Form wie zur Gründungszeit besitzen.
