Character

The enchantingly well-balanced ruby-red wine has a fine fragrance of blackberry, fig and chocolate; on the palate it has a soft, full-bodied and harmonious structure, again fine berry and roasted aromas but now enhanced by slightly smoky notes, and an enduringly long finish.

diverse Provenienzen Spanien

With more than 1.2 million hectares, Spain boasts the world’s largest vine cultivation area. Accordingly, the significance of viticulture in Spain cannot be overstated. Three climatic zones (the green and cool North; the central plateau in the outlying areas as well as the southern, warm coastal areas) give rise to 600 grape vine varieties, many of them indigenous and used only locally, making Spain a highly diverse winegrowing region. Large branches of rivers – Ebro and Duero in the North, Tajo in the West, Guadiana in the South and Júcar und Turia in the East – pervade the land and deliver abundant water to the vineyards.
