Manuel harvest. Maturation of 20 months in barrique (fourth and fifth use).
Dark red colour, with an intense, spicy nose of black pepper, red berries, black cherries and notes of leather and tabacco. Powerful on the palate, with silky tannins and a long fruity and aromatic finish.
Die Trauben stammen aus zwei Parzellen in Tupin-et-Semons südlich von Ampuis. Die biologisch bewirtschafteten Reben sind über 35 Jahre alt und stehen auf Glimmerschiefer und leicht sandigen Böden.
