Selective manual harvest. Fermentation in traditional oak vessels, left on skins for four weeks, then gentle pressing. Maturation in French oak barrels (75% new, 25% used), without any intervention, before bottling and subsequent release.
Intense ruby. Bouquet from dark forest fruit and liquorice notes. Complex and balanced on the palate with blackberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and plum. Smooth tannins and long finish.
Sourced from quickly warming, highly skeletal soils situated north-west of the winery.
