Fermentation on the skins for around 20 days. Maturation for 14 months in new French oak barrels with at least a further 10 months of ageing in bottle.
Dark ruby colour, with a complex nose of ripe red fruit, vanilla, and Mediterranean aromas. The palate is soft, velvety and elegant, with sweet tannins and a long-lasting finish.
