Fermentation for four weeks in stainless steel vats at 16 to 18°C, then maturation for four to six months in new and used oak barrels.
Straw-yellow with golden reflections. Delicate on the nose, with aromas reminiscent of white peach and aromatic herbs. Fruity on the palate, coating the mouth with full-bodied, fresh vibrancy. Long, spicy and minerally on the finish.
The estate vineyards are situated in the region of Gallura in northern Sardinia. Geologically, the terrain here tends to consist of granite and sand – soils that are rich in potassium but contain significant amounts of phosphorus and nitrogen as well. This is the ideal terroir for growing Vermentino.
