The grapes were completely destemmed and spent a few hours macerating on their skins before being gently pressed. Following fermentation, the wine spent six months on its lees in stainless steel.
Fresh and expressive on the nose, with lemon, grapefruit, green apple and a sprig of fresh herbs. This Friulano is dry and juicy on the palate, with a balanced body and a persistent, mineral finish.
The estate has 12 hectares of vineyard in the Collio DOC. Most of the vines sit on layers of marl and sandstone.
