Hand-picked and hand-selected grapes. Gentle whole-bunch pressing followed by fermentation. Subsequent maturation on the lees for eight months in 100% first-use oak barrels, with minimal disturbance.
This minerally Sauvignon Blanc is full of class and appeal. Chalky and fresh on an inviting palate of citrus and mint. Mild texture with great energy on the finish.
This wine is a homage to the great wines of the Loire Valley (and specifically the late Didier Dagueneau), where 'the rocks decide' the style. The fruit is sourced from Marino Vineyard and Kick Ranch – two sites located in the heart of Sonoma County.
