Gentle pressing of hand-picked grapes followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel. The wine was left to rest for a short time before being bottled.
Straw-yellow colour. Intense on the nose, with citrus, red apple, exotic fruit and slightly herbal characters. Fresh on the palate, with a balanced body and tremendous succulence. Mineral, fruity notes on a persistent, moreish finish.
The estate vineyards are situated in the region of Gallura in northern Sardinia. Geologically, the terrain here tends to consist of granite and sand – soils that are rich in potassium but contain significant amounts of phosphorus and nitrogen as well. This is the ideal terroir for growing Vermentino.
