All of Julian Huber's wines, both red and white, are fermented dry as result of spending an extending period on their lees. Maturation in barriques, of which approx. 30% are new.

Julian Huber's white Malterdinger is now 100% Chardonnay from this vintage onwards. Slightly reductive on the nose, with fine notes of green apple and pear, fresh citrus, subtle herbal characters, and gentle oak notes. Bone dry on the palate, with firm, juicy acidity. Very linear and balanced. Long, complex finish.

Julian Huber's main red variety is Pinot Noir, while his main white grapes are Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay followed by Pinot Gris and Auxerrois. His Chardonnay and Auxerrois vines are already over 40 years old. Apart from taking advantage of excellent soils and climatic conditions, Huber also achieves high quality through low yields.
