Hand-picked grapes. Gentle pressing followed by fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of around 15°C, then maturation on the fine lees.
Medium lemon. Pronounced, ripe fruit aromas on a complex nose. Soft attack, but with volume and power. Perfect balance between grip and minerality. A very harmonious white wine.
Sourced from the generally south-facing steep slate vineyards of Leiwen that rise up from the sheltered Mosel river valley. This rocky, mineral-rich terroir has a warm microclimate, offering perfect conditions for Riesling. Grey weathered slate soils ensure good drainage.
