Spice, herbs, wet stone and great depth on the nose. The palate is powerful and concentrated, bringing finesse, enormous complexity and a sense of inner calm. This Riesling is easily one of Germany's greatest wines.
Marcobrunn in Erbach covers 6.8 hectares. Its soil consists of loess-loam, clay marl, and limestone. A gradient of 15 to 30% ensures that the south-facing vines enjoy ample sunshine all day long.
