Cavesa le CAVE, le club des amateurs de vins exquis

Bas Armagnac millésimé, Château de Tariquet, 45.2% - 1993

  • Appellation: Bas Armagnac
  • Domain: Tariquet
  • Grape variety(ies): Ugni blanc et baco
  • On-call time: 50 years
  • Alcohol degree: 45.2%
The colour is a relatively dark yellow with tawny highlights. The nose is intense and mineral, evoking rum baba, grapes in alcohol and noble notes of old wood passed through beeswax. Ample and fat, the palate unfolds slowly on a spicy finish, with a very fine constitution.

Characteristics

This estate is located near Eauze, not far from the Ténarèze border. The Grassa family acquired it in 1912. The vines have since been replanted. The estate is as well known for its dry white wines as for its magnificent, very fruity and often very sweet Armagnac.
