Viticulture

The average age of the vines is 35 years and they are planted at a rate of 5,500 to 7,000 plants per hectare. They are cultivated in the traditional way, with full respect for the environment: ploughing, organic fertilisers, rational control of vine pests, manual harvesting.

Oenology

The vinification is traditional (maximum 2 pumping over, grapes picked at optimum maturity) and the harvest is vinified in small cement vats. The wine is matured in oak barrels, half of which are renewed each year, and thus follows the maturing process of the great Bordeaux wines for 18 months.
