Patrick Adank and his father are passionate winegrowers whose production shows a flawless regularity. Their "barrique" pinot is a wine of great constitution, matured in French barrels of very noble origin. It develops aromas of bramble and spices, with a hint of liquorice, in the manner of a Gevrey-Chambertin cru. We like its full and pulpy body, which will grow with ageing.

Technique

Viticulture

This estate was created by Hansruedi Adank's father. Today it has 5.8 ha, of which 4.2 ha are pinot noir. The soils on Fläsch are schistose and slightly loamy. The approach to the vines is as natural as possible, in line with the organic movement, without making it a commercial argument.

Oenology

This cuvée is made from particularly strict and limited yields. Vinification and maturing for 12 months in Burgundy French oak barrels of different origins (Tronçais, Nevers and Allier).

Suggestions for accompaniment

Quasi of veal - Beef tartar - Risotto with the flavours of the undergrowth.
