Gamay VV, Clos des Corbassières, Cornulus - 2022

It is perhaps the most "monumental" Gamay in the whole of the Valais: firstly because of its vintage, but above all because of its terroir, known for producing sunny and very expressive wines. The Gamay is then transfigured, and takes on accents of southern Pinot, with its nuances of candied red fruit, citrus and mango. A smooth, fat, but very fine wine.
