To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the estate, Silvia Imparato has launched her first 100% aglianico wine. It is made partly from the estate's own vines and partly from vines in the province of Benevento, on cooler, later terroirs. The blend produces a wine of fine character: notes of graphite and menthol precede a streamlined palate, with surprisingly delicate tannins for the variety, and an invigorating freshness.

Technique

Viticulture

This wine is made from 50% of the estate's own vineyards in San Cipriano and 50% from vineyards in the province of Benevento, with cooler, higher altitude soils.

Oenology

Maceration for 8 days in stainless steel vats, 15 days of alcoholic fermentation. Aged in new French oak barrels for 10 months, then aged for 4 months in bottle.
