The Cruchon's are exemplary winegrowers and have a predilection for the best varieties from Lake Geneva, which they cultivate biodynamically. Their latest vintage of Altesse is superb: a beautiful, pure nose, with hints of honey and citron, which precedes a silky mouth, with a refined touch, long, saline and very sapid. A marvellous expression of a great grape variety in a place that is ideally suited to it!

Technique

Viticulture

It is a grafted vine (18 year old vine) on light, sandy soil. Integrated production. Altitude 400 m, eastern exposure, 10% slope. Average yield: 45 hl/ha. First vintage produced : 1998.

Oenology

Whole bunch pressing, vinification in 500 litre barrels. Long alcoholic fermentation at the same time as malolactic fermentation. Little stirring of the lees.
