Once again, Jean-François Germain's Meursault-Villages is a school wine. A pretty crystalline nose, very straight, with citrus fruits and white flowers. Articulated on a fine tension, the mouth is quite lively, coated by a beautiful breeding, with just the right amount of thickness to appreciate both the texture and the taste. One can drink it now with pleasure. Guide Vert RVF: 92/100

Viticulture

Blend of the following vintages: Vireuils, Clos du Cromin, Pellans, Dressoles and Moulin Judas. Vines from 10 to 50 years old.

Oenology

The vinification is done entirely in oak barrels with relatively little new wood (maximum 20 to 25%). As the cellar is very cold, the fermentations are very long and so is the ageing: at least 18 months. No stirring of the lees (except in 1996 and 2007).
