Simon Blanchard is no stranger to the world of wine. The world's greatest estates call on him as a consultant in viticulture and oenology. After first studying biology, he turned to oenology. He met Stéphane Derenoncourt and joined him as a partner in 2010. Simon Blanchard works all over the world, but has long dreamed of a secret garden, a small estate of his own. The dream has come true and on a little more than one hectare, Simon Blanchard offers three cuvées, which we are happy to offer you exclusively for Switzerland.The estate boasts a supple and delicious Montagne St-Emilion "village" cuvée, and two parcel-based isolations: Au Champ de la Fenêtre, from a small plot of Merlot (60 ares) vinified in the Burgundian spirit, which seduces with its texture and greedy fruitiness; and Guitard, which comes from an even smaller plot (30 ares) located on the clay-limestone plateau of the appellation.
