Vin Nature – without added sulfites

Wine:

N’ature rouge is the result of our desire to create a collection of living wines from plot selection. The aim is to combine our know-how with the most ancestral methods, while aiming for the highest quality. It’s a major challenge, as natural wines don’t have a very good reputation, and the range varies from mediocre to excellent.

N’ature rouge is a blend of Dornfelder and Gamaret. The grapes are harvested and fermented together. The vat feet are composed exclusively of Dornfelder, which was used for natural seeding of the vat. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation were completed naturally. We carried out several gravity rackings to extract the coarsest lees, leaving only fine lees of excellent quality.

The wine was bottled by gravity to respect all the criteria for vinification of a natural wine.

The wine naturally contains sulfites, with a total of less than 18mg/L.

Aging: 3 to 5 years

How to store: Aging temperature around 15°C and must be uniform throughout the cellar.

Operating temperature

Ideal temperature: 10 to 12 degrees

Jean-Daniel Rohrer is an award-winning Swiss artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited in both countries, as well as in the USA, France, Japan and England. He describes his art as marked by passion, human presence, the animal kingdom and memory. Rohrer’s visual language fuses the graphic universe, “timeless chronicles” and the pictorial tradition.
