Crognolo" takes its name from a shrub that is widespread on Sette Ponti, the dogwood (Cornus). It consists primarily of Sangiovese, the traditional variety of Tuscany, which can yield elegant and long-lasting wines. Ageing in oak adds complexity to the class of this grape variety.

Stewed red meat, game, rabbit, guinea fowl in balsamic vinegar.

Perfect, powerful elegance of a great Tuscan red wine. Ruby red with an expansive bouquet - warm and spicy with hints of vanilla and coffee. You can taste the dense, dark berry fruit, fine roasted and tobacco aromas accompany the finish.
