Niccolaio Grillesino Maremma Toscana DOC 2018

Ten years after the vineyard was planted (2009), we finally obtain an exceptional quality for this Cabernet Sauvignon, which expresses itself lushly and elegantly in the glass. The Niccolaio is grown in a parcel that used to be populated by typical Maremma vegetation. The Niccolaio grows on a gravel-rich terroir and is the culmination of Grillesino's years of experimentation with this exceptional grape variety.

Excellent as an accompaniment to meat dishes with a strong flavor such as knuckle of pork or grilled meat.

Beautiful intense ruby red. Pronounced nose of black currant, black cherry and secondary notes of liquorice, vanilla and coffee. Captivating, if not predominant, wood note. Good acidity, harmonious and generous on the palate, it has the potential to evolve for a long time. Elegance and character in one package with a unified interface.
