Grain Whisky from Japan has been a fixed component of every better bar since 2014. With The Chita, the well-known producer Suntory has launched a World Whiskys Awards - prize winner (best Japanese Grain Whisky in 2009). The Chita is a balanced blend of different Grain Whiskys. It is matured in old wine casks of Spanish oak and American white oak, which results in a mild but rather complex form of Grain Whisky.
In the nose The Chita convinces with a harmonious bouquet of blossom honey, rose petals, caramel and a hint of crème brûlée.
In the taste The Chita is very soft and mild. It is supported by a fine honey note and shows a trace of fresh mint on the palate. Overall, it is very full-bodied and of excellent purity. The finish impresses with a spicy, yet very long finish, which perfectly completes the delicate pleasure.
