TASTING

The prestigious Dézaley terroir is punctuated by charmus, small terraces surrounded by drystone walls, with a high level of limestone (more than 30%) and with a beneficial south-southwest exposure. This Grand Cru comes from several of these vine parcels that are worked by hand, with the Chasselas made separately on its lees in old 228 l barrels before it is blended. The result is an exceptional wine with a strong character; the aromas of toast and gunpowder structure the fruit’s maturity. The powerful and opulent mouth hints at the impressive aging potential
