Champagne Deutz Brut Rosé 2014/2015 *

Brut Rosé 2014 from Deutz is a champagne that offers beautiful notes of very ripe red fruits and a beautiful mineral freshness. It is a cuvée that will be appreciated both as an aperitif and at the table, with a beef carpaccio or a red mullet. This dessert will also go wonderfully with a red fruit dessert. This cuvée is made from a marriage of 80% Pinot Noir from the terroirs of Aÿ, Bouzy, Verzenay, Ambonnay, Mareuil and Valeursières, and 20% Chardonnay from the terroir of Avize on the Côte des Blancs. To this blend is added 7% of red wine made from Pinot Noir from a plot of old vines in Aÿ, La Pelle, and two plots in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ: Cumaine and Charmont. The Brut Rosé 2014 Deutz is dressed in a rose gold color with copper highlights. The effervescence is fine and elegant. On the nose, it is a delicate champagne, with fine and elegant notes of red fruits that intertwine with more mineral notes. On the palate, the attack is frank, tonic, supple. The aromatic complexity of this cuvée is not long in coming. Freshness and fruity aromas come together forming a silky and delicious texture.
