Beau rouge sombre, intense et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, au fruité mûr et pour la première fois complexe. Nuances de prune et de truffe. Moelleux en entrée de bouche, très raffiné au toucher, avec beaucoup de goût et une très belle présence physique et aromatique, le vin s'envole en finale puissant, distingué et pour autant minutieux dans sa texture. Composition d'une grande unité. C'est incrachable. Bravo ! Propriété en hausse.

Blackcurrant, coffee beans and toast on the nose. This is ample and so concentrated with a deep core of black fruit and liquorice. Tannic muscle but carefully integrated supporting the fruit to give a balanced frame overall. Feels sophisticated, heady and seductive. Long ageing potential.

Sumptuous and polished, the 2019 La Fleur de Gay bursts with aromas of blackberry preserve, loamy soil, mocha and toasty oak. Full-bodied, broad and dramatic, it's a rich, low-acid Pomerol with a sweet core of fruit, powdery tannins and an expansive, somewhat heady finish. It will be at its best young.

Dried berries with dried spices, such as nutmeg and hazelnut, highlighting the whole thing. Full-bodied with a big, rich palate and lots of fruit and toffee. Oak spotlights it all. Give it time to open. Best after 2025.
